Doesn't this sound like a recipe a farm wife should have? It's from one of Jeff's aunts. This tastes real good when taken out to the field while the guys are pickin' corn. Although, I didn't get it made this past harvest season I did make it a few days late in celebration of being done picking corn. :)
1 lb.ground beef
1 medium green pepper (optional)
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 can condensed bean with bacon soup
1 can tomato soup
1 16 oz. can corn, drained
1 cup water
Cook ground beef, green pepper, and onion; drain. Stir in soups, corn and water. Simmer to blend flavors. My kids like to dip yellow corn chips in this and make it more like a dip.
The love of family is life's greatest blessing!
