This is a popular recipe in Jeff's family. It comes from his Grandma Jansen.
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
garlic salt, to taste
chives, to taste
Boil, drain, and mash potatoes. Whip in remaining ingredients. Spread into a greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. May be made a day ahead but allow 15 minutes extra baking time.
