This summer I surprised my sister, who lives in Florida, for her 50th birthday. We had a wonderful time together!! We spent 3 days celebrating her life by going to the beach, doing a little shopping, watching movies, eating ice cream, going on a boat tour and eating some YUMMY food! My family knows my sister by her gift of making some great food. While I was in Florida she served this delicious Sausage Alfredo recipe. It comes together quickly and disappears quickly too!
1 - 8 oz. package of pasta
1 - pkg. fresh mushrooms
1/2 jar sun-dried tomatoes
1 pkg. rope sausage or kielbasa
1/2 pkg. frozen peas, thawed
Whipping cream
Shredded Parmesan cheese
Creole seasoning
Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain & set aside.
Wash & slice mushrooms.
Saute mushrooms in butter.
Meanwhile, cut up sun-dried tomatoes into chunks. Set aside.
Slice rope sausage.
Fry sausage in butter that the mushrooms were fried in.
Combine pasta, peas, tomatoes, mushrooms & sausages all together.
Add enough whipping cream to make a nice sauce.
