Soft Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Bars

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 t. vanilla
4 c. flour
3 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
12 oz. bag chocolate chips

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, and sour cream.  Add vanilla.  In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.  Mix wet and dry ingredients and add chocolate chips.  Spread in lightly greased 10x16" pan and bake at 350* for 30 minutes or till done.
